Blountsville Historical Park, Hwy 231 N.
Admission $5 each. Children under age 5 are free.
The Fashion Show and Dance Saturday evening beginning 5:30 will be free events.
There will be sutlers, food, museum displays, demonstrations, and historians.
The 5th Alabama Infantry Regimental Band will play prior to Saturday’s 2pm Battle
and for the Camp Dance that evening. Blountsville’s Hee Haw Gang will perform Saturday morning.
Cowboy Action Shooters will perform both days at Noon.
Divine services occur Sunday — hopefully at the new “Meeting House”
and new buildings will be dedicated, with another Battle scheduled for 2p.m.
Spend time with us as this May 1, 1863 event is relived. Bring lawn chairs, umbrellas, cameras, and the kids for a great time in Blountsville.
